The CW network announced in May that it would not be renewing its existing deal with Netflix in the US beyond the 2018/19 season. Under the current agreement, shows appear first on The CW where they are available with limited rolling 5 episode catch-up, before moving to Netflix 8 days after the season finale, and are then available as a full boxset.
It is expected that Netflix will continue to offer existing series for the foreseeable future but that they will have to negotiate along with competitors for 2nd windows to any new shows from the 2019/20 season onwards.

The upcoming ‘Batwoman’ is due to premiere on The CW in October and we believe will be held back for a 2nd window on WarnerMedia’s as-yet-untitled streaming service. The CW is a joint venture between Warner and CBS.
