Objectives
ONE, a Telekom Slovenia owned company, approached 3Vision in mid 2009 to closely support the launch of a DVB-T service in Macedonia - a South Eastern European country dominated by cable TV. Telekom Slovenia had previously made several investments in the country so that it could launch a quad play offer under the brand name ONE.

3Vision were tasked to ensure that the TV service would launch on time, with localised channels and a content offer that would compete aggressively with the existing cable powerhouses.

Results
ONE launched its TV service ahead of schedule in November 2009 under the brand name Boom TV with a basic package of over 40 channels with leading international channels such as Fox Life, Fox Crime, Discovery Channel, AXN and MTV Adria. An HBO premium pack was added to the service in the following month. Both packages are competitively priced against cable and also offered as bundles with telephony and mobile products.

Key success points from the project included:

Since launch, Boom TV has enjoyed rapid subscriber growth and continues to build on its success. 3Vision has remained key to Boom TV’s development and product enhancement, working on an ongoing basis to support the roll-out and growth of the service.
